Route operations and QCPs

Keep the route meaningful while allowing detailed work and quality control at every operation.

A Route Operation represents a genuine production stage, work-centre activity or responsibility handoff. The QCP inside that operation holds granular work, inspection, measurement and verification requirements.

Configure a short route or a deeply detailed Route Kit. Each relevant operation can carry its own structured QCP, controlled supporting procedure or both.

Explainable production forecasting

Use operation target time and tolerance to show expected completion and emerging delivery risk.

Managers can trace a late forecast back to the operation, queue, hold, failed QCP or handoff causing it. Standards can be reviewed over time without rewriting historical production meaning.

Forecasting without pretending to be APS. This is route-based progress and expected-completion visibility. Finite-capacity scheduling, constraint optimization and automated sequencing belong to the future planning/APS pathway.

Establish planned operational cost from the Route Kit, approved labour/resource rates, expected material usage and permitted direct costs. As production proceeds, calculate actual cost to date and estimate at completion from the execution data actually recorded.
